In Africa’s Youth, the Future of Science

The African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) opened its doors in South Africa in 2003. The institute focuses on graduate teaching and research, as well as running impactful programs for mathematics teachers. Today, AIMS is a pan-African network of centres, with a presence in Ghana, Senegal, Cameroon and Rwanda.
