Ronald Mwita Kerario is a PhD Student in Mathematics at Stellenbosch University, specializing in Algebra. He completed his Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mathematical Sciences in 2025 at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) South Africa, affiliated with Stellenbosch University.
He was awarded the Mastercard Foundation Scholarship to undertake his Master’s studies at AIMS South Africa and later received the Stellenbosch University-AIMS (SU–AIMS) Scholarship to continue his PhD in Mathematics at Stellenbosch University.
His research and teaching interests are in Algebra, with a particular focus on categorical algebra. During his Master’s studies at AIMS South Africa, he volunteered as a mathematics tutor at the Muizenberg Library.
