Zephrina Aniska Be

Zephrina Aniska Be is a PhD student in quantum computing at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) South Africa, affiliated with Stellenbosch University. Her research focuses on quantum learning theory and cryptography, with an emphasis on multi-prover interactive proof systems for learning and testing tasks.

She holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Mathematical Sciences from AIMS South Africa, where she received the Excellence Award, and studied quantum computing and introductory quantum cryptography, and a MSc in Advanced Scientific Skills in Mathematics from the École Normale Supérieure of the University of Antananarivo, gaining rigorous training in pure mathematics.

She has also contributed to a hackathon project at the Centre d’Été Mathématique de Recherche Avancée en Calcul Scientifique (CEMRACS) 2025 Summer School, focused on developing protocols and software tools for hybrid, post-quantum, and quantum cryptography.

Her research interests include cryptography, algebra, quantum cryptography, and quantum learning theory. She is eager to contribute to teaching, mentorship, and workshops related to these areas.
